Connect GitHub

GitHub can show open pull requests, open issues, and failed workflow runs for up to three repositories.

Set it up

  1. 1

    Create a fine-grained token

In GitHub, open Settings → Developer settings → Personal access tokens → Fine-grained tokens and choose Generate new token.

  2. 2

    Choose repository access

Select only the repositories you plan to show in Stat. Under Repository permissions, grant Issues: read, Pull requests: read, and Actions: read. For public repositories, the token is optional; private repositories require access.

  3. 3

    Copy the token

Generate and copy the token while GitHub displays it. If an organization owns the repositories, the organization may need to approve the token.

  4. 4

    Connect in Stat

Enter your GitHub username, paste the token if you created one, and list up to three repositories as owner/name separated by commas. Then choose Connect.

What you’ll need

  • · GitHub username
  • · Fine-grained token (optional for public data)
  • · Up to three owner/name repositories
