Connect Linear

A read-only personal API key lets Stat count open and overdue issues in your Linear workspace.

Set it up

    Open your security settings

    In Linear, open Settings → Account → Security & Access.

    Create a personal API key

    Choose to create a new API key. Name it Stat, select read-only access, and limit it to the teams you want to include when those options are available.

    Copy the key

    Copy the key and keep it private. Workspace admins can control whether members are allowed to create API keys.

    Connect in Stat

    Paste the key into the Linear field and choose Connect.

Ready to connect?

Open Stat on your Mac and paste your details into the Linear connection.

Your credentials are saved in your Mac’s Keychain. Stat uses them to read the metrics shown in your screen saver.
