Connect YouTube

A Google Cloud API key is enough to read a public YouTube channel’s subscriber count.

Set it up

    Create a Google Cloud project

    Open Google Cloud Console and create a project, or choose an existing one.

    Enable YouTube Data API v3

    In APIs & Services → Library, search for YouTube Data API v3 and enable it for your project.

    Create an API key

    Go to APIs & Services → Credentials → Create credentials → API key. Copy the new key. You can restrict it to the YouTube Data API from the key settings.

    Connect your channel

    Paste the key into the YouTube field and enter your channel handle, including @, then choose Connect.
